the new car
C’s driving it home from ‘bama as I type. I dropped her off, signed a slip of paper, and left. I can’t stand that scene; every time I speak to a car salesman, another piece of me dies.
I did look inside it and watched it get turned on. It’s a Prius. It will be the first car I’ve ever owned that, when sitting in the driver’s seat, it’s not immediately obvious how to make it go.
Wow. I’m GREEN with envy!
